Guidelines for contributors

The QubitBenchmark journal publishes articles by researchers and engineers about their own measurements on quantum computers.

What we publish

  • New or repeated benchmark measurements, with links to the paper, data or code.
  • Explanations of how a benchmark works, or what a result does and does not show.

What every article needs

  • Your name and organisation.
  • A conflict-of-interest statement: say if you work for, or are funded by, the maker of any machine you discuss.
  • Sources for every number. Results you report are checked like every other number on the site before they join the data.
  • Your own words and images, or ones you have the right to publish.

How it works

  1. Apply for an account. We approve contributors one by one.
  2. Write your article and submit it for review.
  3. We review it, may edit it for clarity, and publish it. The strongest articles are featured on the home page.

No one pays to be published, and publishing an article never changes a grade or a ranking.
